  1. I'm buying the Pioineer A06 burner, new i need suggestions on what brand media to buy, and the cheapest possible, any suggestions?

    You need to tell how valuable your burned DVDs will be to you. What would you do if in two years, your DVDs started to crap out on you? Could you redo the project from scratch? Would you be willing to? If not, then how much would it be worth to you to NOT have to do this?

    Only with this info can we assist you with your purchases.

    Ive gotten a great response out of the TDK brand dvd-r's

    have some that are now 1.5 years and are still working great!

    burned about 20 princo, 12 of them skip in my player and not only at the end of the movie. so far, i didn't have the problem others have with life time (after couple of month, they are unreadable, but it's ok for 3 month now)

    Burned about 50 Ritek, only 1 movie skip in my player, and it's a bad layerbreak I forgot to remove.

    Burned 10 TDK, all work perfectly, but cost near double of G03

    if you want bad story about princo, use the search option you will find dozens

  10. i use top of line jvc dvd player with progressive scan and no skipping whats so ever. Could be player?

    nop tested on several drive with same problem... problem is worst over time. Anyway, princo and ritek are close in price, don'T take any chance and get G03 !
