instal on Os X 10.1

Hi there , so I've downloaded everything and I'can't run the engines installer ... nothing happen when I click on it . As this version , 0.0.7d , is for osX 10.2 may be it doesn't work on previous os X so I tried to find an older version of ffmpeg on their site but no information about this . My question is : does ffmpeg run only on os X 10.2 ? if no where can I find a older version of ffmpeg that runs on osX 10.1 ?
note : I have the very precious tutorial of carpo with ffmpeg 0.0.4d but it doesn't say on wich version of os X it runs ...

Yes, it only runs on OSX 10.2.

Having the exact same problem with OS 10.2.6, tried ways to get around and install the mencoder and player in other ways but the mencoder won't work...
