Got the Sony DVP-NC600 5 disc changer a couple of days ago. It plays my VCDs and DVDs ok but it 'forgets' the resume play position after each disk change. Resume play only works as long as I do not select another disk.
According to the manual resume play should work as long as I don't open the tray or press the 'Load' button.
Does anyone know whether this is normal behavior or do I have to bring the player back to the store?

I don't know if that's the same model I have, but I did buy two 5 disc Sony changers a month ago -- I'll look at home at lunch if I remember to see what the model number is.
They do indeed remember the disk position as long as the disk is in the machine, no matter what other disks I play or where I stop. But there are settings to set for this: I don't remember if this is the default or not, but I do remember I went to the menu and selected this.
If it turns out I have the same model I'll see what my settings are and report back here to you."Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
