I am considering upgrading to Windows XP but am a little concerned about conflicts and unsupported Hardware and Software
I currently have a Pioneer 105 and a Haupauge wintv Pvr 250 capture cardand use the following software
DVD2ONE
DvdShrink
Dvd Decrypter
Instant DVD
Ulead Media Studio 7
and I currently use Nero to burn but I understand XP does not support Nero.
SO........................Here is the question:
Has anybody found any problems capturing, converting, ripping or burning with XP?
All feedback appreciated.

Some older versions of nero did not support XP. If you have an older version you can download an upgrade patch from nero's website. Or at least you could when I upgraded to XP and found my version of Nero would not work with it.

I will be getting WinXp Pro on a new computer and this one will include NERO and don't think I'll have a problem.

Nero works fine for me, and I have VideoStudio 6 which is older than MediaStudio 7 I think and it works fine. I would guess you would not have a problem with that either.
I would not worry to much about software not working. XP has a compatability feature that you can apply to specific programs to make it appear the program is running in an older version of Windows."A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct."
