How important is having things that are WHQL certified? I don't have the latest Nvidia drivers because the most recent aren't WHQL certified...nor do I know if they will be soon. But is it really a problem to just ignore the windows box that comes up stating that what you are trying to install hasn't passed Windows Logo Testing? The same issue came up when I wanted to install the vibration drivers for my game pad. What does everyone think about this issue...should I only consider things that are WHQL certified????

I really would appreciate hearing experiences with WHQL certifications since I haven't had much luck finding out whether it's important or not.

Is this the same a Microsoft certified, if so I do not bother about it. If I did I would not have installed half of the stuff on my PC that I have done. Seems to me this certification is just another way for microsoft to screw some money out of 3rd party companies.

Really??? So Craig, you haven't experienced any problems with your hardware as a result then?

Not so far.

Ok, thanks. Maybe I'll just go ahead and install something and just ignore the windows compatibility warning when it pops up and see what happens.
Thanks Craig T. -
