You must open the contents of the software package by making a right click on the icon of the application Mplayer OS X 2. Open the Contents files, then Resources, then Fonts. In this file, there are three files. Copy the file TeX Sans.ttf and past it on your desktop. Change of this file into subfont.ttf. Then made Command + G and indicate the directory ~/.mplayer.
