DVD to DVDR while using anydvd

I just installed Anydvd to automatically decrypt dvd's without having to rip to the hard drive. Instantcopy is still recognizing the disc as encrypted (its not working with anydvd ).

Has anyone tried converting a dual layer to single layer using anydvd in conjunction with another dvd9 to 5 program?

Which one would give the best results (speed is not an issue - quality is the issue for me) Besides instant copy (since it won't work in conjuction), which program would automatically burn the disc after converting for me and give the best quality?

---Overview of process---
Put movie DVD into DVD-ROM drive
Put blank DVD±R into dvd burner
Start Autoshrink
S et DVD-ROM drive letter
Shrink DVD Files set hard drive letter.
DVD Label *** if none is specified it'll use one from DVD.
Target Folder in DVDShrink is automatically set to the DVD Label in AutoShrink.
Click Start Conversion.DVDShrink
DVDShrink pops up and you Re-Author or Full-Disk mode. Follow the guides.
Click Backup!

Click OK, when DVDShrink is done encoding the video files they'll be automatically burned with ImgTool.

Requirements of AutoShrink
-- ImgTool and Nero
-- DVDDecrypter and Nero.
--DVD-ROM and DVD Burner
--4.5GB free harddisk space

i've had no problem using anydvd v1.3.2.1 with IC7 w/ update3, done about 10 movies with anydvd, saves about 20 min in ripping time. make sure that you have the latest anydvd and ic7, they come out with releases almost daily

Maybe a stupid question but I use IC. I can't however find anywhere which version I'm using. How can I check that?

I would agree with MrBass ,Autoshrink is a complete no brainer & all you require is freeware !!

AutoShrink is good but AnyDVD is GREAT With AutoShrink you could still have a region code protection issue which must be removed as a seperate operation. AnyDVD removes ALL protection.

I realize it is not FREEWARE but there is a 21 day trial to try. I believe it is well worth the investment.

I tried it last night with IC7.

AnyDVD will decrypt the protected data "on the fly". As a result you'll have an unprotected DVD in your hands.

AnyDVD not only removes CSS and Region Coding, it ALSO removes:

- Macrovision
- Lockout Tracks (where you can't push menu or FF or Track Up 'cuz it says "operation prohibited", i.e. the FBI warnings)
