Are there any programs that will stabilize video in post-production. I figure that maybe theres something out there that will do what the cameras do during filming after its filmed.

Absolutely. We use Adobe After Effects and it's superb (note you'll need the production bundle to do this).
AE does everything in post you could want to do -- in addition to stabilization it does terrific motion tracking (similar but more versatile -- allows you to take moving footage and super phony signs or anything else you want), the best chromakey out there (forget Ultimatte and Primatte -- the PB of AE gets the cleanest mattes in the world), special effects... the list goes on and on.
Somewhat pricey, but if you need a good editor (like Premiere Pro) and/or Adobe Encore the Video Production bundle is a steal (see my other thread in DVD authoring about "Good Price on Adobe Encore")."Like a knife, he cuts through life, like every day's his last" -- Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang -
