  1. iam thinking of buying a lcd panasonic pt- ae200e projector
    has any1 got a projector what do you think of them
    are the pictures as good as a normal tv
    ive only seen movies at the cinema on them
    how good are they with dvd players

    movies at the cinema are on film for the most part and IF you saw a video projected film (still pretty rare) in a theatre it would be projected by a $100,000+ d-cinema video projection system ..


    i'm not crazy about the Panasonic PT-AE200U , i see better quality images from other projectors in the same price range .. but the build quality is high and for a lcd projector the screen door effect is not to bad if you stay under a 100" dia. screen ..

  3. If you want a projector, with incredible quality for the money, get a CRT, not a digital. For a fraction of the price of a new digital projector, you can get a used CRT which looks better, and costs less to maintain. Most CRTs can handle almost anything you throw at them, 1080i and even 1080p. Some of the higher end sony and NEC models can throw out a 2500x2000 resolution with no problems.
