  1. Let me tell you what I have done so far. I used SmartRipper to rip one of my personal dvds. I extracted the files to a specific folder on my HD. The files are IFO, BUP and VOD's. I then used DVD shrink to shrink the DVD and backup only the movie, not all the other stuff like trailers, etc. Now do I do anything to the audio? If so, where are the audio files and what must I do with them? After I do stuff to the audio files, then what must be done? My burning program is Nero and I also have Roxio Easy Cd Creator 5. If someone could give me a step by step set of instructions from here, that would be excellent. Sorry if I asked a question posted before. I am just a Newbie, you know. Thanks for you help in advance.

  2. DVDshrink gives you the option to remove audio tracks...

    they are part of the vob files....not separate...and you cannot compress them...either include them as is or remove some tracks totally, but you cannot compress the audio..just video

    You are halfway home.
    Open Nero, and close the wizard if it opens and select File-->New.

    1. Select DVD from the pull-down menu.

    2. Select DVD Video

    3. Select New.



    4. Select all the files you ripped.

    5. Drag and drop them in the VIDEO_TS folder.







    6. Select the Burn Icon.

    7. Double-check if DVD-Video is still selected, and your blank disk is installed.

    8. Select Write.
