Is there any way to see if my DVD player is region free without buying a R2 DVD? I bought my DVD player in Hong Kong and it plays R1 DVDs fine. But I don't have any DVDs other than R1. My TV is NTSC and not PAL. Also, I heard R2 DVD has better animation quality?
