  2. Is there a timer you need to set to do capture? A lot of capture programs will have a timer and if you don't put in some time number the program will only capture a few minutes then stop.

Myself I use the AVerDVD EZMaker PCI capture card and NeoDVD Plus software but even then I have to set the capture timer in NeoDVD. BTW You can buy the AVer capture card and NeoDVD software from CompUSA for $39. I paid $10 for it on sale.

Unfortunatley all of the software products that are bundled or sold seperately by Dazzle, DVD Complete, Movie Star have a lot of stability problems. I wasted 200.00 on a Dazzle product 1year ago and will never purchase a product from them again. I gave up after trying it on 3 different top notch systems. I finally figured out it was their software and not my systems, Good luck nontheless!

  5. It wasn't the Dazzle Hollywood Bridge, by any chance? If so, there is a terrific (simple) fix for it that makes it work perfectly.

If not -- well, sorry about butting in.

Russ - Have you downloaded the update for DVD complete from the Dazzle site? I'm not familiar with that product though I use the DVC2 with Moviestar 4 to capture. Had to download the XP patch for that software before it ran properly. Good luck - could just be, as other members say, a stability issue - I was warned about DVC2 but took the chance and it looks as though I'm one of the lucky ones.

Russ - forgot to mention - have a look at www.dazzlegeek.com.

The guys there know a thing or two about Dazzle products. Whilst it was aimed at the DVC2 there'd be no harm in checking out any help from them.
