I have recently purchased HP300e DVD (External). Twice already I have had problem in which the DVD started to flash and the tray was no longer functioning. This was happening while using 3rd party S/W (copytodvd).

HP lab notify me that the DVD had H/w problem. I do have couple of questions;
1. Anyone having the same dvd seen the same problem?
2. Anyone having the same dvd have had problems with 3rd party burning S/W?.
