competitors to dvdrhelp.com?

Now, I'm not defecting, nor is this site bad... in fact, it's my favorite, and I call it my "home" now for non-pro video.

But when this site goes down, and I need a question answered or have a sudden itch to learn something, I'd like to know my alternatives. And I mean sites that are as encompassing, information-rich, and large as this one. A google.com search gave me crap results.

That happened last night, and I found my self in the dark when dvdrhelp.com was down like Mike Tyson after a TKO.

I've been to doom9.org's and kvcd.net's forums.

Who else is out there? Just out of curiosity?

doom9's forums are probably more technically minded and detailed about the individual programs involved with DVD ripping.

I'm not entirely sure if there is another large general video editing/authoring forum like DVDRHelp.
