i have a normal ntsc television but my dvd player has both an ntsc and pal setting, so can i simply burn the pal svcd i have now and watch it without hitch? or do i still need to convert? thanks in advance

As long as your DVD player supports SVCD's you can burn away. I have several PAL svcd's (well PAL .mpeg's) that I burn as SVCD and watch with no problems on my NTSC television using my NTSC/PAL supported dvd player.Originally Posted by Veron
