If not mistaken CCE is NOT an authoring program, it is an encoder program. Meaning that it will encode your files to MPEG1 or MPEG2 depending upon your settings. However, it does not create the necessary DVD file structure which is required before burning to a DVD.
If your file is already in MPEG2 format then you do not need to reencode with CCE. Just be certain that the audio is at 48K and then either mux the audio and video with Tmpgenc and the input into your AUTHORING program.

Yeah i know its an encoder..very nice one i might add....but i make it dvd compliant and right resolution ...convert my audio to ac3 and everything then when i add the video file and audio file to my authoring program it always says its not dvd standard and converts it...Thats why i was looking for a good guide..hope theres some out there

  4. There CCE guides and forums at http://www.doom9.org I've encoded several files to m2v w/ CCE and authored with Maestro and IFOEdit no problem so I know it works.

Are you sure you encoded your files correctly? That is 720x480 with a bitrate less than 9.8Mbit/s? Are you trying to author m2v + ac3 or muxed MPEG files (most programs only accept elementary streams). What program/s are you trying to author with?
