Ok--When you author a DVD, is it ok to just have .vob files in your VIDEO_TS folder? Will the DVD work?
I tried this and it doesn't so I guess not. All I have for my movie are the .vob files so what should I do to make this DVD work?

its been covered many times on how to make these, and its really not too difficult.
Essentially, name them such that they are in sequential order
vts_01_01.vob
vts_01_02.vob
vts_01_03.vob
vts_01_04.vob
then you need to open Virtual PC, run a small app called IFO EDIT
Click CREATE IFO, and select your 1st .vob and let it run
when its done, you have all the files you need
I do not know of a mac equivalent to this app. It would be nice if someone who has the ability to make apps make this program, but in the mean time its the only way I know of.
Do a forum search in the mac forum for more on this. I think the topic was 2dvd to 1 dvd and it talks about just what you need
