  1. 1) I recently bought a Panasonic CP67K DVD changer (the K just stands for black).

I love the size and quality of the unit and its playback of home movies burned as DVD Video format on DVD-R. Plays all my DVD-Rs.

However, I have a DVD Video on Philips DVD+R and it doesn't play
    on the CP67K.

In the player comments on this site one user states that it plays
    most DVD+R.

I am about to buy a lot of HP DVD+R discs and wanted to know
if they will play on the Panasonic CP67.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    2) I also have trouble playing some VCDs on CD-R with this unit, whereas another player of mine plays all of them.
I suspect it is a burn issue (Nero vs Easy CD, TAO versus DAO etc.) since it doesn't appear to be media specific (e.g. some Fuji VCDs on CD-R play, whereas others on same media do not play).

    Any ideas?

I will burn some this weekend and check if it is a software or burn setting specific issue.

    Thanks!

  2. I also have cp67 and it hangs while reading DVD+R or +RW discs. No button would work and I have to power it down. I am surprised that it doesn't support this format. I need to return it or sell it I guess.

Otherwise I like the compact size.

Don't know which multi disc, progressive scan player playus the DVD+ format???

I think only way to play DVD+ format with cp67 is to set the bit (don't know what) during writing of a disc so tht player thinks it is DVD-ROM but my NEC doesn't support writing such bit.
