put 2 dvd into one dvd

i was wondering if anyone know how to put two dvd into one dvd. last time i use dvdxcopy to burn it onto the dvd and it split onto 2 dvd. now, i try to put it back onto 1 dvd instead. does anyone how how... i read one of the forum and got the idea that you can rip everything into the hard drive and use TMPGEnc DVD Author to put it back onto 1 dvd right...

To begin with, if you split the movie to 2 disks, it's probably too big to fit onto one dvd-r, unless you were planning to use different software(D2O, etc.) to squish it. If that's the case, just use your original copy and start over. Unless.....of course.......you don't HAVE an origianl? hmmm?
