  1. I am having problems trying to author a dvd from 2 disks. Disk one contains the movie and a few special features and disk two contains the rest of the special features. What I want to do is keep the movie and menu from disk one and add some of the special features and menu from disk two (put on two dvd-r's since I don't like to lose video quality). I am doing fine with IfoEdit and MenuEdit, but I am confused as to how to modify the VIDEO_TS.VOB file to contain all of the information. Do I need to create a completely new VIDEO_TS.VOB? From disk one, I have the VIDEO_TS.VOB and VTS1_xx.VOB files. From disk two I have the same files and VTS8,9,17,18_xx.VOB. Do I have to rename any of these some the second disk? I hope this isn't too confusing...

  2. Still can't figure this out! The only method I see of doing it is manually correcting the VIDEO_TS.IFO, which I really don't have much of a clue about doing...

  3. Continue on my own post....

Tried everything I can think of to put the movie and special features from 2 dvd9's to 2 dvd5's. Used DVDFab to create VIDEO_TS.IFO for all the VOB files (after renaming all to get VTS_01-08_xx.VOB files). Everything plays this way, but all the meus are screwed up and the links don't work (you get from one thing to another by selecting a different title). Anyway, I'll probably give this up for the time being (unless I get some input) and just put disk 1 on 2 dvd 5's and forget the special features disk....
