Hey dudes-
I snagged the simpsons first season dvd rips recently. trying to convert them to svcd (preferably) or vcd.
here's the properties:
audio - MPEG Layer-3,136kBit.s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo
video - 640x480, 24bits, 33395 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec,
168 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3
I have Divx 4.01 installed, as well as as many other codecs as I've picked up, including the pack from vcdhelp.com. When I try to encode it, tmpeg shows 90K+ total frames, and
encodes over an hour of 'stuff', for a 23:12.849 video. There's no audio in the resulting mpg file, and the video stops at 23:12.849. I'm currently trying BBMPEG to strip the audio out, then encode that with the source divx video.
I'm guessing it's the 48kHz audio instead of 44.1? Any thoughts? TIA!
