So based on that I would think that the DVD-F65K would perform just as well since it uses the same chipset that the S35S model uses. However I don't have the F65K nor have I tested it so I cannot comment from direct experience. However I do know it uses the same chipset and is from the same new "line" of PANASONIC players so one would assume that it would behave the same way ... but you know what they say when you assume hehehe
Also I should point out that although we did try MANY discs made in a variety of ways they were all in the DVD-R format ... not the DVD+R format.

P.S.
BEST BUY has the DVD-F65K and I am sure that since it is PANASONIC that other stores have it too by now so why don't take some DVD+R discs to a store and test them out. But a word of advise ... BEST BUY will generally let you hook up a DVD player to a TV for testing but they get a bit snotty about it and want you to use your own A/V cables so bring a set with you. Also don't go at a high traffic time (like the weekend) or they may say they are too busy to bother doing it. BEST BUY has this DVD player for $129.99 which is the lowest price I've seen it at in a retail store."The eyes are the first thing that you have to destroy ... because they have seen too many bad things" - Lucio Fulci
