    Multiplexing is to join the audio and video streams together.

    We do have a glossary on this site which describes most of the common video related terms.

    On the subject of multiplexing, is there any advantage to muxing the audio and video streams after encoding the vob/.d2v files with Tmpgenc, or just to let Tmpgenc do it as it encodes???
