Ok, I'm pretty much a DivX newbie I'll admit that so maybe I'm not checking something I have too or I don't have my settings right but I've tried fixing this several ways and now I'm a little peeved.
I have a TV Show's first episode in DvX format on my PC, however when I go to play it back on the TV the TV seems to "Crop" the sizeds of the video off -- Top, Bottom, Left, AND Right! In essance I'm missing major parts of the picture.
I tried burning it to VCD and the pictre quality was still missing, then I tried resizing it to 720x480 and outputting it via the PC to the TV again, and it still didn't work.
The Video is at a 640x480 Resolution and one thing I've noticed is that when I make a Video froma VHS Tape and cap it at said resolution, I have a sort of "BLack Bar" around my screen on the PC, similar to widescreen, but when I play it back on the TV, it's not there.
Is there any way I can fix this?
I'd appreciate any and all help as it's really starting to aggrivate me, I want to watch this Video on my TV not my Tiny PC Monitor, if anyone knows how to fix this problem please help, thank you in advace:

tv cuts off 10 per cent of a video anyway ( LONG story) most pc tv software is crap but most problems can be fixed with a program called tv tools

Secertagent, thank you for the help.
I was just about to go and download the Trailware version, but I realized their website is all in German. Unfortunatly I ca't read german, at least not mor ethan maybe a few sentances that I picked up from my Dad who took German in High School and knows some words, but not a lot of them.
IS there any ENglish alternative to TVTools? This would be very helpful as the video is subtitled an the last thing I want to do is loos the edges of the Subtitles.
As for the TV chopping off 10% of the Video I always found it weird that a DVD played on the PC looked like it had more to the picture, FUlscreen usually in every direction, one Disc looks like it nearly had a characters head cut off on the TV but looks fine on the PC, it also plays the PC Menu's in WIdescreen instead off fulllscreen.
I wonder if only CRT (Anolog) TV's Chop off 10% of the video or if HDTV's do it as well, because I'm beggining to question if it's a better idea to try and get a 27" PC Monitor to replace my old 27" TV Downstairs, I have a 27" In my Bedroom but that's brand new and I refuse to replace it, I was thinking tha maybe resizing the video to have "Black Bars" in very direction would fix the problem if I played it out onto the TV (just like when I playback a video I captured from the TV) ut now I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.
As for TV's cutting off 10% of the picture, does this happen on VHS Tapes thata re captured onto the PC too, and does it hapen on DVDs bruned on a DVD Writer or is it just the fact that the TV Isn't showing everything it should?
I've always ben curious about that but when you're missing a good chunk of the screen on a DivX Video with Subtitles, it gets really annoying.
If there's ane nglish alternative that you,or anyon else knwosof for TVTools please speak up, I hav been at this ofr awhile and I ca't get it to work right.
I wish that NUll-Transfomr Filter in VDub would let me actually "Shrink" the Video and place black Bar's around it instead of just cropping part of the video out.
