  1. I see all these new discs saying inkjet printable. How does that work? I can't just stick it in my inkjet and print a label so how does the white top work?! If you can't guess, I've only been burning a few weeks.

  2. You need a printer that will print directly to CDR or DVDR like the Epson Stylus 900 or 960 model printers. I have the 900 and love it.

how is your printer? can you scan some of your cds to see how the photo quality is?

is the discs smear water resistent?
    thanks?

i tried the canon 630? printer my friend has and its terrible...the ink smears and the photo quality is fuzzy compared to labels especially high glosss

  4. I don't have a site to park any pictures to link to sorry. All I can say is the quality is absolutely stunning and crystal clear. I printed a mp3 CDR for use in my in car mp3 player and so far in handling the CD it has not shown any signs of smearing or scratching. Someone here said that there is a spray-on clear coat that will protect the printed CD's but I'm not convinced I will ever need to do that.

  6. About that epson,

Can you refill the cartrigs, and what type do they take. I mean like one 3 color tank, or the 3 tanks (one each color) plus black.

I think I looked at one of those before on a site, does it print paper well like a normal printer or is it mostly just a disk printer?
How do you feed the disks through it?

Was that the one for around $360??

You can now upload images directly to the forum so no need to host them on your own webspace. The instruction on how to do so are just below the text box when you post a message.
