CB will likely ask you for a sample, but my guess is that the SVCD was cut badly. The second disc likely begins with bad data or some such that just gets exacerbated by the authoring process.

  3. its happened on two vcd,s i tried,,

in power dvd the vts_01_2.vob has given
me a black screen with audio..also
the at the end of the vts_01_1.vob
the movie will freeze if you have
vts_01_2 as the next vob file to play
    in the play list,,,

hope theres a fix,,,i like this prog now...

Yeah you'll have to get with CB on it then. I've run into a number of cases where the DVD authoring step mangled a video that otherwise worked (when authored in Maestro). There are a couple hella obscure bugs in the authoring phase. He's working on 'em though!

  5. i managed to get two vcds working. With the second
    .vob being ok.

what i noticed was the two that worked were pal 25 fps.
And the two with the bad second .vob were ntsc 29.97 fps.
i checked the original ntsc .mpg and its compilant.

this could be hard as it requires the whole movie.with two ._dvd files
say 650mb each.it will join part of the first ._dvd to the second in the
the first .vob file.as the first .vob is usally over 1gb.so the problem
how does it handle whats left for the second .vob.the worst thing is
theres no way of telling until completion.the .mpg files are compliant.
