    Usually this is done the other way around but I was wondering if there is an easy way to convert a DVD to like and mpeg so that I can bring it into premiere and edit it. I want to take certain movies (ie) star wars series and make a best ofdvd that just has the fight scenese. Is there an easy was of doing this?? thanks

    You surely DON'T want to convert to mpeg BEFORE editing. You want a somewhat less lossy format like DV-avi or something like that.

    OK ya kinda new at this so how would i convert it to avi or DV and does premiere 6.5 do DV?
