    I have a movie of my first dive that is a SVCD for PAL, but when I returned from my holiday, very eager to watch my movie, I noticed that my pioneer 737 does not play SVCD. How do I convert it and can I do it with no or very little loss of quality to XVCD.

    Demultiplex with TMPGEnc, multiplex with TMPGEnc as Video-CD (non-Standard). Burn as VCD (I use VCDImager / CDRWin). If your player can play that XXVCD, you don't need to reencode. Otherwise http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm
