Your watching the movie on your DVD player & it stops 5 mins b4 the end?

Yet it doesn't do this when you view the (s)vcd?

Did you author with SVCD2DVDMPG+ or antother application?

Although I also use Maestro, have you tried letting SVCD2DVDMPG+ do the authoring to see if some is still missing?

  12. ask well are the cue files even needed?

  13. the cue files you need to burn the ep on a cd so you can play it on your dvd-player as svcd.

But if you don't know where the cue's are for how do you know the source isn't missing 5 minutes?

  14. becouse i just watched the bin of it and it is 2 or 3 mins longer then the mpv that svcd2dvd made

  15. try to watch the m2v and see if it is shorter or the same length. if it is shorter svcd2dvdmpg looses some info if not then the dvd author program you use looses some minutes

  16. wtf what did i just say? i WATCHED THE MPV FILE AND IT IS SHORTER THEN THE ORGINAL BIN FILE!!!!! WHERE IS AN M2V file?

  17. ok i hear you, you don't have to shout. You're the one with the problem i'm only trying to help.

What you could do it burn the bin/cue rip of the mpeg, check the mpeg with virtualdub-MPEG to see if it got no errors. which could give problems. if not try to run the mpeg through svcd2dvdmpg again.

I never had a problem with mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 files with svcd2dvdmpeg other then having out of sync audio..

  18. ok i did that and it still is cut at the end. what else could it be?

  19. you could at a additional part to the first mpeg. make a new mpeg of the origional one with the same size as the part that is cut off. append it to the origional mpeg and run it again..

This isn't a fix but maybe it works..
