    i know if its a DVD5 u can use DVDDecrypter to HD then HD to DVDBurner.... but if you have a DVDRom and a DVDBurner, can u just go directly from DVDRom - DVDBurner and save a step?

  2. Not with DVD Decrypter. You can do on the fly copies with Nero and Record Now Max. However I STRONGLY recommend against it. It's much more safe to rip the image file and then burn it. Time wise it normally takes me 3-6min to rip a DVD5 discs (some are evern faster 15.5x rip) and it's saving that 5min just isn't worth making possible coasters, IMHO. YMMV...

    this is very true but it takes about 15 min to rip it to the harddrive on the regular cause i have a 16x dvdrom and thats how long it takes

    your drive may be 16x, but what speed is it ripping at?

    if you are getting 16x ripping, it shouldn't take but 3 or 4 minutes (or less) to rip a dvd-5.
