  1. Besides decoding hardware, there should be a software that can get rid of the mosaic that was put in a video.
    Does anyone know anything about it?

    You mean the mosaic effect on camcorders that makes them look all pixelated? I haven't heard of anything that can remove that effect. Maybe someone else at this forums has...?

  3. No, that is the effect of heavy compression which is used in VCD's. Better quality encoding will reduce the effect, but no remove it all. You will have to make a SVCD or a DVD to get better quality video.

  4. What I'm talking about is video editing that sometimes mosaic was put on because editor do not want to show some scenes (such as people don't want to show their faces on tv, sensitive scenes in adult video, etc.) Is there a way to resolve it?
