Any hobbies besides computer related stuff?

My wife and I got into snorkeling before we had the bebe. I can't really swim, but them fins, mask, and snorkel will do wonders. At some point in our underwater adventures, I instantaneously developed a knack for the dolphin kick. The same one that The Man from Atlantis used to use, but my version is better.

Aside from that, I like to build things. Anything. Heavy construction, framing, finish carpentry. You name it.

I was also into offroading for a little while, but there's only a limited amount of places to go, when you live on an island. More like one.

  2. Football, Snooker, Pool, Golf, Tennis and Squash. I play all these pretty regularly. I am really lucky where I work as we have great sports facilities. Grass and Atroturf football pitches, Tennis courts, squash courts, gym, swimming pool, even our own golf course.

I have a 1971 MGB Roadster I try and keep nice.
Combined with footie, a couple of web sites and video editing most of my time is taken up with my little boy.
The latter is the hardest, but the most rewarding!

  5. Gym 5 times a week, gardening. Collecting and restoring antiques, I have a 1910 player piano I keep meaning to start on. Talk about a complicated S.O.B.
Photography, still and video, I enjoy the artistic aspects of the hobby such as composition and subject matter. I just can't figure out how to talk my wife into making some ametuer videos

I have a small winery in my basement, I currently have about 5 gallons of Strawberry wine going, I had thought to stop it at about 12% alcohol, but the yeast kept going, so I kept feeding it. I finally killed it at about 19%. I sampled some last night. Man talk about good, it is a little too dry, so I will have to sweeten it just a little bit. It has another two months to go before I bottle it. Should be ready to drink around Christmas. Looks like it is going to be my best vintage to date, although I have a good Chianti that will finish aging in another month.
Just what is this reality thing anyway?

Motorcycles. I used to drag race motorcycles for about 10 years until raising a family put an end to it. Nothing like accelerating from a standing stop to 154 MPH in 8.54 seconds. The bike pulls so hard that it feels like your brain gets squashed against the back of you skull. And when you line up the bike on the starting line, it better be pionted straight, because the front wheel won't touch down until half way through 3rd gear, wich makes it all but imposible to steer. Once the kids all grow up, I'm definetly going back to racing. I've got 2 really fast bikes in the garage just waiting to be let loose.

Besides that I'm big into video editing right now. It's a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun. I also hit the gym and like to play Baseball, Football and just about any sport.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

As my nick suggests I whore myself out as a codriver for rally teams in need of one. Rally isn't anywhere near as big in the States as it is in Europe and the rest of the world so I'm pretty proud to be active. I don't have the money to own a rally car and compete with it (yet) so for now I codrive. I'm not so bad driving on the dirt either.

Other hobbies consist of throwing money at either my car (a USDM Subaru Impreza 2.5RS with a turbo kit and a whole host of other things) or my computers (you can see details on the one in my profile). Lately I think the car has reached a plateau where the next step in performance upgrade is going to cost roughly the value of the car so I'm loathe to start that up. Instead I'm building another PC but now having the buyer's remorse after seeing the new G5

I also fly at least once a month. I went to school for commercial aviation but a lot of good that did me. Commercial aviation isn't the best industry to be in lately here. Oh well, it's still great fun and a good method of transportation for me.

  16. murdering homeless people, harvesting their organs and selling them on the black market..

you'd be surprised how much money you can make.. people in desperate situations will pay big cash and keep their mouths shut.. they know someone had to be killed to get the organs, and they know they arent immune from it either..

[this is a joke, just incase there are any retards out there who think i'm serious]

It's even more lucrative to help overthrow small third-world governments, but that's usually not something you want to talk about. Plan ONE LITTLE COUP and they just throw you in jail like you're a CRIMINAL or something...
