  1. have I got it right that this app uses parts of .net and if yes,
    wasn´t it possible to make it without it ?

    It would be but since I use Visual Studio .Net for work I'm not about to use another IDE just for a laugh.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
