muxrate problems

need to get a a final muxrate 1.41 for vcd, but ffmpegx will only make 1.38. the tool always muxes as 1.41, but it wont accept the vcd/mpg files that are encoded with ffmpegx

how do i change this? my dvd player is picky and wont play any other muxrate.

Are you using mpeg-1 (mpeg2enc) constant bitrate? You could try to set XVCD profile and increase the bitrate a little. Or keep the elementary streams and mux them with the Mux tool.
