  1. I just want ask what does the term sync mean? I see this term offer and I dont' know what it means. Can anyone explain it and give an example for it ?

  2. It's short for synchronization. As in "the audio is not synchronized with the video. I see the actor speak and hear it later"

    It's also easily the most common problem that people ask about in the forums.

    Also, foreign movies that are dubbed (instead of subtitles) always have the speaking out of sync (it's a different language after all), one of the reasons I hate them.
