vdub converts in winamp

no idea how my virtual dub started to make my audio into winamp files. Don't have winamp installed did a check but did find a reg key that in there. Didn't take it out yet.
What I'm doing is going into vdub clicking on audio>full process>conversion>44,100
Then I open video file load>sav as wav and it comes out a winamp file.
Any ideas?
What's the best way to uninstall vdub?

it did not make a winamp file. there is no such thing. what happened is you have wav files associated with winamp. right click on any wav file and choose properties. then change the association from winamp to any other mediaplayer on your computer. it simply tells your computer to open any wav file with a specific program (like winamp for example) when you click on the wav file so you can hear it.
