With all the hubbub about converting SVCDs and/or modifying them by means of resampling audio and patching the header to create a DVD(r)... It occured to me that if I wanted (which I do) to put a couple full length movies on a single DVD(r), the 48khz audio can be created when encoding with TMPGEnc the first time around. Simply modify the SVCD template to specify 48khz audio. Or better yet, when rippping from the DVD select stream processing (In Smart Ripper) to demux the AC3 and only convert the video with TMPGEnc. Remux with AC3 and Voila !

Am I wrong here ? I haven't a DVD(r) writer to test with so I can't say it works.....
What are your thoughts?
