I really dont understand what this software does. I went to the website and its also unclear what its about. www.vrtainment.com ????? 3D virtual worlds. What does this have to do with the software. I'm lost.

this program called capture pad is available in their downloads section. they do others things like 3d modeling but that ihas nothing to do with this program. The program allows you to take a movie or picture of anything that you can see on your screen. for example say you have a beautiful waterfall screensaver that you would lilke to put on a dvd, or you wanted to make a help guide showing scenes from a program you are using so someone else would know what you are doing (have you seen the guides here that include pictures?) it allows you to make those type of pictures also. say you have something that for some reason won't let you save your work. if you can see it on your computer you can save it.

I've had problems with CapturePad. If you change the frame rate to anything but 1 Hz, the video plays back at an accelerated rate.

I just downloaded Camstudio, and it works fine. Thanks for the tip on that one.
