Does anyone know if Sony dvd players like the DVP-NS 330 or 333 which I am considering buying playback NTSC DVD's in NTSC or automatically convert them to PAL-60? My current Pioneer player has a setting which lets you choose between an NTSC signal or a converted PAL signal.
Since I have a multiregion TV, I prefer NTSC for NTSC discs but I do not know if this player supports that.
Thanks!

I have the DVP NS310 and it won't convert NTSC to PAL - which is a kick in the teeth for me as neither does my TV
In all fairness this is also the worst player I've had - I'm trying to get it to recognise the chapters I've put on loads of VCDs without much joy. Plus it has terrible search options and display with VCDs.
Not a great deal of connections for sound either.
The only advantage it has over my "old" Limit player is the lack of a blindingly bright on/off LCD on the front.
i might zoom off to ASDA to grab a Pacific for £50 . . . . .
