Media Vs Player

Hi and thanks for any replies.
My question relates to DVD players and Media, i have a A03 writter and a Classic DVD102 player, as i use cheap Bulkpaq media i am finding some of my films freeze towards the end, question though - is it the media or could i get a better player with a more powerful / accurate laser? tried many sites and still cant make my mind up, the Classic DVD102 gets good reviews so i cant be sure another player would be any better- Over to you please??

Almost certainly the media, bulkpaq are pretty poor, although some players will play poor media better than others and you cant go on quality or name to decide which should play better. I have a cheap Alba which cost £60 which plays cheap discs better than my £350 Pioneer. Do yourself a favour and buy better quality media which will have a better chance in playing in whatever drive you put it in.
