Tmpg Enc Judges Position Problem Crap !!!!

Does anyone know why tmpg judges field position some times and changes setting when loading an AVI file .

I have some avis with exact same audio and video decoders and some when loaded up in tmpg enc judges field position and some dont ?

the ones that judge field position and converted are always like 5 sec out of sync, i tried changing to normal setting and still out of sync.

I find that the source is crap in this case... or faulty, as are ATI MPEG2 files... not a problem with TMPGenc.

the source has exact!!(EXACT) same settings as my others,

this is what i dont get ? their must be something else to it,
after ripping audio and video they r the exact some lenth and is always out of sync, i need something that can scan theses avis

i bet they r corrupt, but the play fine and their r no bad frames.
