I know the regular sources to get some alternative dvd covers but are there any newsgroups that cover this? I have some movies that I would like some custom artwork to but can't find them in the usual places.

    Thanks!

Sometimes there might be a few DVD covers, but it's mainly audio.

You've checked www.dvdcoverart.com? They have the best customs, but the selection can be a little thin sometimes.

dvdcoverart has become my website of choice actually--After grabbing a few high quality covers I can't stomach going back to those fuzzy 72dpi ones found elsewhere. I'll check out the cdcovers group--Thanks!

Another vote for DVDcoverart.com here, they are so high quality that used with CoverXP they are a dream. They have a credit system though and you can either buy credits via pay pal or add covers on your own to get more credits.

I totally agree with you flaystus, except sometimes they don't have the movie I'm looking for (in this case cutthroat island) I did a laserdisc rip and would like to find the dvd art work for this but it seems to be in low demand (considering the movie was kind of cheesy, I'm not that surprised :P )
