16:9 video

I shot my home video with my sony digi cam in 16:9 mode. I downloaded it to my PC using VideoStudio 6.0 and it looks fine in 16:9 mode. But when I author the same to make DVD using VideoStudio 6, it converts it into 4:3 by stretching the video. Can someone pls. tell what am I doing wrong here?

I wonder if you have checked your FILE>PREFERENCES and the setting in your IMAGE RESAMPLING OPTION drop down list.

What is your setting there?
