Copied vcd is not viewable on dvd player

I have a Plextor PX-W2410A cd-writer using CloneCD to copy vcd's but for some reason, I am unable to view the copied vcd on my dvd player (Panasonic A300). It plays fine on my computer but not my dvd player. My player does not play cdr's and cdrw's but CloneCD is suppose to correct that since it copies 1:1. I keep getting a "No Disk" message. I have tried all the options with CloneCd and still no luck. Can someone help????

Had the same problem with my Samsung709. Refused to play cdrs until I found the right Manufacturer and dye combination for the player. I don't think Clonecd is the answer. I use it for copying audio cds and it doesn't make them work on my Samsung. I finished up with Princo 74min from Maplin (UK) at 50 for £12.50. (Dye type
