I just upgraded my MMC from 7.5 to 8.5 and now the TV-in doesnt work. I click on the TV link and the startup window with the ATI logo appears, but the TV never opens. I have tried the DVD, VCD, and Player and they all work fine. I went to ATI site and downloaded/installed the latest driver, no difference. I tried VirtualDub Capture and I did get the TV-in so I know it is still getting a signal.
I get the following message
----------------------------------
Unable to start TV
Check the Windows Device manager to ensure that the correct video driver has been installed and is working properly before attemnpting to restart TV
----------------------------------
running the ATI configuration test I get the following warnings
-------------------------------
Audio Clock Inaccuracy > (+ or -) 0.2%
Remote Wonder: Not Version 1.5.0.0 or more recent
Hard Drive : ST313021 A SCSI Disk Device
DMA for Hard Drive operation may not be enabled
-------------------------------
didnt have these problems under 7.5
driver for TV is set to ATI Rage Theater Video Capture
I went to Device manager and the IDE settings for Primary and Secondary were both set to "DMA if available"
Any and all help will be appreciated.

Did you also download the current video driver and follow the install steps outlined on the ATI web site? The order is very specific.
