I'd like to know what folks think is the best real time editing solution with real time support for a $500 budget. The only ones I've heard of are from Canopus:
Raptor RT + Premier 6.0
Raptor RT2 (includes Canopus editing software, not premier)
From what I've seen, both of these options are right around $500. Are there other solutions worth looking at in the price range? Any comments on which of these options is better?

Matrox RT.X10 Xtra http://www.matrox.com/video/products/rtx10xtra/home.cfm
but dont believe the real time editing is all real time and als many software products can offer greater value --
but this matrox card is a good value
its $499 and it includes a full version of 6.5
