    has anybody bought either of these dvd players?

    would you recommend it?

    im in a bit of dilemma as to which i should by, i hear the -500 has an ethernet connection. is this essential or can i live without it?

    does the ethernet offer any more than the standalone would anywaY?

    please post your opinions of these products and help me make up my mind.

    you can live without it !!

    dp 450 is a very good player...updates on the firmware are periodically available on www.kiss-technology.com so when there is a bug, it will be soon fixed.

    i got mine from www.scan.co.uk

    just aswell theres firmware upgrades the amount of glitches it has.
