I get these Princo 1x media (Shiny white top) branded Aterra on the box from one of our wholesalers.
They come in ten packs with slim jewel cases.
I haven't had the issues with them others have reported, except 1X speed of course!
I suspect that these could be old stock as I suspect they don't move many disks. They are a computer parts wholesaler.
What I'm wondering is those people that had problems with princo in the media section all seemed to be buying spindles.
I wonder if they are different or newer = cheaper media?
Some companies start out producing good quality, low price until a market is established and then the quality slippage starts.
When I was in QC on CB Crystals back when you bought a channel pair, transmit/receive, If we had a large order and needed to fill it some slippage in quality would occur, IE maybe a little more of freq. allowed than normal.
I wonder if the high demand isn't causing some makers to relax standards too.
My thoughts anyway
Cheers
Roger
