    I just did a clean install of Win XP gold release version but when I try to istall Nero 5.0 ( have the upgrade patch downloaded as well) all's fine untill the istall process gets to the pain that asks who can have access, ie administrator, guest etc. The box that should have these users to choose from is empty so I have to quit the install. With W2K I have no problem it install fine and the upgrade as well. Anyone have any ideas? I checked Nero's site but there is nothing there yet for XP.
    So for the time being I'm using XP's CD writing capability but it's a bit slow.

    Nero installed fine for me. I've used it at least 30 times with Win XP.

    I'm running Windows XP RC2 with Nero 5.5 everyday. Everything works fine for me
