  1. Has any one tried to burn National Security yet? If so, were you successful? I rented two different versions and have failed each time. The problem is that after you decrypt the dvd, the first two chapters is copied to my hard drive without sound. All the chapters following it have sound. So my thoughts are that this is some kind of new encryption that DVD Decrypter can't decrypt which the movie companies are using to prevent copying. Its working... Anyone encounter this problem? Is there any way to get around it. Becuz I don't want to burn a movie that is set to mute on the first two chapters. Is this common in any other movies? Thanks

i use nero to burn because it was less than 4.37 gig so i didn't need Instant copy 7

  3. I don't think the way I rip my dvd is the problem because I have burned dozens of them already. Today, I just burnt another one. I decrypt my dvd with DVD Decrypter, compress it with DVD2One and then burn it with Record Now. I have completed the first two steps, but after trying to view the movie on my computer as I normally do to see that everything is as it should be, I refuse to follow thru with the third step and waste a dvdr.

If the version on my computer is a reject, even though I copied it from the actual disc, would the movie play without sound if I were to burn it to disc.I am pretty sure it would but I'll check to be on the safe side.

    thx BBoy

I use DVDshrink to crop out trailers or warning screens on some DVD backups.

Anything that can be encoded can be decoded. It just may take us a little longer sometimes.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
